bottega blu means the blue workshop in Italian. We create home goods combining vintage crafted objects with handpicked new materials, to create extraordinary and fascinating aesthetic stories.

We have a passion for crafted, natural and honest materials, such as glass, ceramics and silk that stand the test of time. We strive to accentuate their complex colors and textures through interactions with light.

We use creativity to bring new life to forgotten objects, and search for beautiful quality materials that are made from things the world discarded. Shape, colour, pattern and texture make the items tell a new story.

We celebrate the artisans and craftsmen who create materials and objects with such detail that you can keep exploring endlessly, and work directly with them to create unique, limited series.
